The wall decor you choose will become a focal point of the room so make sure you are thoughtful in your choices. Here are some tips for choosing and hanging wall decor that you will love:
1. Choose decor that you love. The first step to choosing wall decor is to pick pieces that you genuinely love. This way, you'll feel happy every time you walk into the room.
2. Where to decorate? Anywhere! Hang wall decor above a table, sofa, or bed for a complete look. You can also hang it in a corner or at the end of a hallway. Signs can work above the door. Choosing wall decor for above furniture is a great place to start.
3. Decorate large walls with a grouping. For large walls, a grouping can be an excellent way to add interest to the room. Groupings can be symmetrical or asymmetrical, depending on your preference. You can use a variety of different wall decor pieces, such as prints, clocks, shelves, signs, and mirrors. Alternatively, you can use the same piece in multiples on a large wall. Before hanging your grouping, lay the pieces on the floor to determine the best layout.
4. Make hanging wall decor easy. There are several helpful tricks to to hang wall decor:  Using heavy tape, tape a thumbtack to each hook with the tack pressing out of the tape. Place the decor exactly where you'd like it, making sure it is level. Carefully press the thumbtacks into the wall. Now you know exactly where the nails should go. This is especially helpful for decor with two or more hooks. You can do the same with a dab of toothpaste on the hooks. Instead of nails or hangers you can use 3M Strips. If using strips, be sure to follow the instructions when removing them.

5. Hang wall decor at the right height and placement for the best asthetic. The height at which you hang your wall decor depends on its placement. If it's not above furniture, it should be at eye level for an average person -the middle of the decor or grouping should be approximately 5.5 feet high. If it's above a sofa, it should be about 12 inches above the back of the sofa. If it's above other furniture, it should be 3-6 inches above it. Always center the piece above the furniture, not the wall. Finally, you don't have to hang your wall decor. You can also lean it against the wall for a more casual, laid-back look. This works especially well on a mantel or shelf.

Wall decor is an essential aspect of any room's style and design. By following these tips, you can create spaces that you love to live in. Remember to choose pieces that make you happy and don't be afraid to get creative with your grouping or placement. Happy decorating!
